Three finjan cups. The cashier types 3*, scans once, and three cups land on one line. Search finds products by English or Arabic name, barcode or SKU, and when one barcode sits on two products, Posific asks which one instead of guessing.

Prices include VAT, so the total on the screen is the total on the receipt. Discounts follow each person's limits. Park the basket while they fetch one more thing, or turn last week's quotation into today's sale.

A hundred in cash, the rest on card. Or a cheque, a bank transfer, their account, their points. Posific works out the change, prints the 80 mm receipt or an A4 tax invoice, and records every tender exactly as it happened.
Card payments are taken on your bank's terminal and recorded at the till.

The moment the sale completes, three cups leave stock. Low-stock warnings, reorder suggestions from the last 90 days of sales, counts, shelf labels in English and Arabic, purchase orders: the stockroom finally keeps up with the counter.

She comes in every Thursday. Her points are waiting, her account shows what's owed and for how long, and her statement prints on A4 in a minute. Payments settle the oldest invoices first, unless you choose otherwise.

Every sale, refund, bill and expense posts itself into a real double-entry ledger. Cash-up at close. Card takings matched to the bank, with the fees they kept. Cheques followed until they clear. Profit and loss you can open, line by line.
Q-ENDVAT 201
When the quarter closes, your VAT 201 figures are already there: sales and expenses for each box, due and recoverable tax and the amount to pay, with every invoice behind every number. Send your accountant one pack of files that open in Excel. File on EmaraTax as usual.
TOMORROWBeyond the counter
Put your catalogue online at yourshop.posific.com. Send a delivery with your own driver or a courier and give the customer a tracking link. Run the counter on Windows, with automatic updates and a local register that keeps taking pickup orders when the internet drops. Connect your own website through the API. Android is on its way.
